Pierre Bruyère

Pierre Bruyère is Director of BELNET since 1993.
He is civil engineer in electronic from the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve.
As employee of the Belgian Science Policy Office for 21 years, he took various responsibilities mainly in the field of research and telecommunications. He was appointed as Belgian delegate to various international organizations active in this field (Eureka, European Union, European Space Agency, OECD).
Since 1998, he is also member of the board of directors of ASTRID, a Belgian public company operating a radio communication network for emergency and security services.
