Session
1D - Who cares? - Campus Networking Issues
This track focuses on the current and future networking issues facing university and campus environments, given their unprecedented (and ever-increasing) connectivity to the Internet. Our speakers examine the new challenges these institutions face in overcoming the pitfalls and in taking full advantage of the communications technology available. This session has it all: from the requirements of campus networks to the effects of a shrinking world, and from the capabilities needed to facilitate “virtualisation” to how to enable location-based education.
