7A - Who Cares? - Collaboration tools & user experience
This session will highlight three examples of how the user, at different levels, can be taken in account in an NREN-context. A proposal will be given of how the implementation of Research & Educational Development Index (REDI) can help monitoring the ‘Digital Divide’ developments in the international community of research and educational networks. The presentation of the eduCONF – project will show how reliable and sustainable collaboration tools, can be offered with support to users in a European, cross border context. A presentation about Quality of Experience (QoE) will demonstrate a model for framing user experience and how this QoE can be accurately measured.
