3A - What is behind? - Making Grid applications happen

In this session Grid applications will be discussed as one of the most network demanding and resources consuming services. One of the presenters will talk about correlation of radio telescopes over dynamic lambda Grids, while the others are looking into Grid content transmission over L2 engineered paths and the Gridway Metascheduler enableing large-scale, reliable and efficient sharing of computing resources.
