Wolfgang John is a PhD student at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Chalmers University of Technology in Göteborg, Sweden since 2005. He received a MSc degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Halmstad in 2004. His current research interest is measurement and analysis of computer communications on fast links, focusing on traffic classification and anomaly detection. The research is carried out within the MonNet project, a project for network and traffic monitoring on the SUNET Internet backbone.
