Rodrigo Castro



Member of the Data Acquisition Group of the CIEMAT fusion laboratory. At present he is working on developments related with remote experimentation and participation for fusion and also works as security engineer for data acquisition systems. He graduated in Computer Science from the Universidad Politécnica of Madrid. From 1997 to 1999 he was member of the technical staff of Spanish Centre New Technologies for Learning. From 1999 to 2006 he was member of RedIRIS, the Spanish Research Network, acting first as information systems security engineer and member of the Spanish CERN, and then as middleware engineer, being one the originators of PAPI technology.
