Dimitris Daskopoulos



Dimitris Daskopoulos holds a BE (Dartmouth College) and an MSc in Computer Engineering (PennState). He has been with the NOC of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTH), Greece since 1995, as manager of Network Services. He is also involved in the deployment of directory enabled applications, authentication authorization infrastructures, video conferencing and VoIP services for the Greek NREN (GRNET). As a member of a number of TERENA task forces (TF-STREAM, TF-NETCAST, TF-VVC) he has participated in group efforts for establishing VoIP and VC services, as well as in the writing of the TERENA IP Telephony Cookbook.
